Held Sunday, February 11th, 2007
at the Cape Cod Community College, Art wing, Studio B.
Hollis Engley showed us how to simply and quickly produce professional-quality photographs of any and all of our pots. With just a basic investment of equipment that ordinarily pays for itself, in just a couple photos, and even less of an investment if you share the cost with another potter.
Ever wonder about how a photo is judged for a juried show or for use in the Potters' Brochure? This workshop covered the basics and more.
Peter Spier gave a brief explanation of how he looks at photos, both for print and when serving on a jury, and why some pictures make it and some don't.
